Pick Your Own
-
Our Pick Your Own flower season typically runs from mid Spring to early Autumn, depending on weather and bloom cycles. Exact dates are released on our website and social media closer to the time. Join our email list to be notified when sessions go live, or follow us on instagram for updates.
-
Our flower patch features a rotating selection of seasonal blooms, which include ranunculus, stock, peonies, delphinium, dahlias, cosmos, zinnias, sunflowers, hydrangeas and more. Availability varies throughout the season. For more information visit What Blooms When.

Yes, children are welcome but must be supervised at all times, as there are barbed wire fences keeping cattle in and a dam close by. Please note that our pathways can be uneven in places, so prams may be tricky in some areas.
Children 12 and under enter free.
-
Comfortable footwear, closed toe shoes preferred (you’ll be walking through farm paths with bees, insects, spiders and the possibility of wildlife like mice or snakes)
A hat, sunscreen, insect repellant if desired and a water bottle if weather is warm. A jacket if it is cold.
We provide everything you need to pick and carry your flowers.
Please remember this is a working farm so there will be uneven surfaces and things you can hook your clothes on (fence, droppers). We ask you to be careful and please use the paths provided.
Important - Please do not bring smokes or vapes into the farm. We are a non-smoking and non-vaping venue.
-
Picnics are not permitted during standard Pick Your Own (PYO) sessions, which run for 60 minutes, unless explicitly offered by us at time of booking.
You're welcome to bring a water bottle or small snacks for young children, but we kindly ask that you avoid dropping food or leaving any waste behind. Even small crumbs can attract rodents, and we work hard to keep our flower patch as pest-free and tidy as possible. Please take all rubbish with you when you leave.
If you're looking to enjoy food and drinks during your visit, we recommend booking one of our Snip + Sip sessions, which are designed for a longer, more relaxed experience and include curated food and beverage offerings. Alternatively, visit a local eatery pre or post your visit.
-
No. For the safety of our guests, flowers, and farm animals, pets are not permitted on the property.
-

Our Snip + Sip PYO sessions are designed for guests who want to slow down and truly indulge in the flower farm experience.
While standard PYO sessions are 60 minutes and focused on flower picking, Snip + Sip offers a more relaxed atmosphere with:
Extended time in the flower patch
Greater seating areas for relaxing with a drink and soaking up the ambience.
Food and beverage options available for purchase, such as seasonal grazing boxes and a licensed bar serving both non-alcoholic and alcoholic drinks.
On occasion, we may offer select sessions where BYO picnics are welcome - this will be clearly stated at the time of booking. If you're unsure, feel free to reach out or check the session details before your visit.
Usually a cracking sunset if it’s a golden hour booking.
The pricing for Snip + Sip PYO sessions depends on the offering each time and can change based on the specific inclusions.
Snip + Sip sessions are ideal for small groups, catch-ups, special occasions, or anyone looking for a unique and memorable outing in the Adelaide Hills.
Availability is limited in Spring, with the majority of Snip + Sip sessions offered in the warmer Summer months.

We are located in Charleston, South Australia. A relaxed 45-50 minute drive from Adelaide to the Adelaide Hills. Choose the straighter path via the South Eastern Freeway or wind your way through the hills. Exact address sent with booking confirmation.
-
PYO bookings are non-refundable if cancelled within 48 hours of the scheduled booking time.
For Private Bookings, cancellation within 14 days of the event will result in forfeiture of the deposit. Cancellation within 7 days of the event will result in the full payment being due.
We recommend notifying us as early as possible if you need to cancel.
Food preorders can only be cancelled up to 7 days prior to booking date, due to supplier terms. After this period, we are unable to offer refunds for food items.
There are no refunds for no shows.
Unfortunately processing fees are non-refundable at any time.
-
The flower patch is outdoors so wind, hot sun and rain could occur at any time. In the event of extreme weather (heavy rainfall/storms or extreme fire danger) we will cancel your booking and refund, or offer a reschedule if possible. This will be notified via email and SMS if this is the case.
Please note our PYO sessions are timed for early-mid morning or late afternoon-sunset. Flowers will not last as well if picked in the direct heat of the day.
-
We no longer offer wholesale flowers. While we’ve provided limited quantities to florists in previous seasons, Charleston Farm is now focused exclusively on our Pick Your Own experiences and seasonal offerings.
We truly appreciate the support from our florist community over the years!
-
We no longer offer bunches for pickup or delivery at this time, as our focus is on creating experiences through our Pick Your Own sessions.
On occasion, if we have extra blooms outside of our regular PYO sessions, we may bunch them up and make them available at local locations, or share availability via our Instagram - so keep an eye out there.
If you're looking to gift flowers, a Charleston Farm PYO voucher is a great alternative. After all, what’s better than picking your own bouquet, straight from the farm?
If you have further questions that haven’t been answered above, please email us. Thanks!
